Lindsay Hamby grew up on a little farm in the middle of Ohio. She contracted the gardening bug as a young child when she found a few small cedar shoots growing beside one of her family’s barns and decided to try transplanting them into the empty spots of her small herb garden, hoping they might grow into bushes. The herb garden is long gone, but today the cedar sprouts are giant trees in her parents’ yard. Lindsay now lives in the heart of Detroit, Michigan, with her dashing husband and three charming children and loves feeding city folks homegrown food.
