Rachel Hester lives in Central Kentucky with her husband and son, two dogs, cat, flock of dairy sheep, a plethora of poultry, and a few humble beehives. She is the author of The Guide to Homestead Dairy Sheep, the only book currently in print on the topic of raising sheep for milk. More books are planned for the future as she explores sheep-milk specific recipes from overseas and encourages homesteaders to explore wool as a valuable commodity for the homestead. If you don’t catch her speaking at a homestead conference, you can find more about her and her homestead, Whoopsydaisy Farm, at www.whoopsydaisyfarm.com
